0 Rupertcow Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Hello new forum user, This is a common problem multiple people have so please scroll down on the place that you downloaded the mod and follow the **COMMON PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS CLICK HERE** link which will help you solve your problem. You need to understand that not doing a simple search on the forum or a simple browse of the sticky threads is breaking rules. Just think if 10 people had this very same issue and they all posted new threads it would make them all look quite stupid. Please follow the rules. Also the link to the issues and solutions is http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php?topic=639.0 Quote
0 shadoweye Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 Too bad there is not written how to disable it... you see it's not in mod select like other mods Quote
0 Rupertcow Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Problem: I can't turn off NEI(And a couple other mods) through modloader.cfg! Reason: Those mods are not in the mods folder, so modloader doesn't have anything to do with them. Solution: Sorry but, looks like you are going file hunting. If they are not in the mods folder that means they were hard added to the .jar meaning you will have to find out what classes they added and changed and revert them the hard way. Try using the search feature of the forum searching optifine and the second result was a thread where something important was posted. http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php?topic=618.msg3793#msg3793 If you look at bettergrass download you see that it modifies the base minecraft.jar than means part of the mod in the launcher is in the modpack.jar file.. you need to remove it from there to get it out as well.. On a side note one of the intended features to be added to the launcher later is the ability to enable disable the optional mods like before. It will just take time to code up So you will have to be patient if you want to disable it or make the effort of deleting the many class files that come with optifine. Quote
