Tekkit Lite crashes after loading

Hi, my Tekkit Lite kept crashing for some reason (I think some of the files got messed up) so I looked on the forums and it said on one of the posts I found to reinstall it. So I reinstalled it and now I keep getting this thing pop up when I click login saying Update Failed! So please reply with help asap.
