Is there a way to get Optifine working with Tekkit?

I've googled it and tried to get it working with Tekkit, but no luck. I just get a white screen. I tried doing it to the minecraft.jar and also to the modpack.jar. Any help would be very appreciated. Maybe even a link to a topic about this already. I wasn't able to find anything.

I'm trying to get optifine and some good looking shaders working with tekkit. Minecraft Version 1.5.2. Thank you very much.

The correct version of optifine gets extracted directly into the appropriate (mod-pack-specific) copy of modpack.jar - that's it. You can then configure it from inside the game.
