Tekkit Classic Minecraft Version

I'm sorry if this thread has already been created, but I did some searching and couldn't find one. I just downloaded what I assume is the latest technic launcher off the technicpack website and I've been trying to work with the different modpacks I can use. I don't really have any interest in the new tekkit with all of the space and everything, and I was curious what version of minecraft the tekkit classic was on in the new launcher. If you also have the answer to what minecraft version the tekkit lite is using, that'd be great too, but I'm mostly concerned with tekkit classic.
