Can't load up anything but Vanilla

Operating System: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

Java Version: Version 7 Update 21

Antivirus Program: None

Description of Problem:

When I open up the Launcher and select to download a pack it downloads fine. When it actually loads up a "Hello" screen appears and says FML is finalizing a few things. As soon as the Hello screen finishes and closes whatever pack I was running closes. No error report or anything, just closes. I also dont have a Technic Launcher folder anymore. I am not sure how to redownload that and feel like that may be a potential cause,

I have the same problem, but after doing some research, I discovered that the Forge website is down. This means the files needed for forge to function can't be downloaded. I have no idea when they will be up, and have not been able to find where an estimate will be posted.

Sorry this doesn't solve the problem, but at least it explains it.
