Launcher wont do anything

Launcher Version: Current Launcher Build: 246

Operating System: Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit Service pack 1

Java Version: latest recomended both 32-bit & 64-bit

Antivirus Program: Kaspersky internet security

Description of Problem:

The Launcher starts asks if i wish to change the installation path i say no then i get a splash but thats the end of the story nothing else happens at all

Created a simple batch file to increase the ram the File would use the batch file contained

" java -Xmx2048M-Xms2048M-jar "Techniclauncher.exe" "

seems that my windows was refusing to allocate the launcher with sufficient ram

I can´t log into technic launcher, it just says, invalid username/password combination although i´m inlogged at the webpage, what´s wrong?? please help!!
