247mb ram to Tekkit/Minecraft in general

Launcher Version: 249 (latest recommended build)

Operating System: 2,50 GHz dual core, 4G RAM, 32 bit Windows 7 Professional

Java Version: 1.7.0_21

Antivirus Program: Avast

Description of Problem:

Every time I play minecraft/Tekkit, it sets my RAM to a maximum 247MB. Due to this bug I can't play Tekkit without laggspikes.

I tried to change runtime parameters, change settings in launcher and I tried to start as administator.

Help would be appriciated

I think that you seem to have a problem similar to a lot of other people recently, please go here:http://forums.technicpack.net/threa...ers-experiencing-pack-crashes-solution.46980/ and post your error logs so we can see if there is a bug
