My Server Isn't Working But Why?

I made The Tekkit Classic Server And Have done everything my friend showed me but when I click on servers it says there is 1 bar of connection signal (1550 - 1560 ms) and when I try to join it instantaneously displays a error message that says

"Connection lost

End of Stream"

I am using the server v.1.0.6 and in the bottom left hand corner it shows :

Minecraft 1.2.5

FML V2.2.106.176

Minecraft Forge 3.3.8.164

Optifine Optifine_1.2.5_HD_S_C6

41 Mods Loaded

Also On the console it displays this message before the server starts loading :

To start the server with more ram, launch it as "java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar"

Can Anyone Tell me why this happened and how to fix it for future reference THANK YOU
