Antivirus Program: K9 and Norton(both my parents doing)

Description of Problem:

Every time I add a modpack and wait for it to launch, it gets to the part where it unzips the modpack in the cache and then displays a message saying:

Error unzipping the file for the following pack: (modpack name)

Error unzipping file: (modpack location)\cache\(modpack name)

Please consult the author or try to run the pack again.

This is really pissing me off, I can't get certain modpacks like "infamy modern warfare" or even the dr.who modpack!

please help! people are sending emails to me about "error unpacking modpack" in my modpack, and i don't know how to fix this

I think it might be K9 because every time it crashes it shows a warning down in the lower right of the screen saying it has blocked something then when the error window goes away it goes away! Tell all those people to check their firewalls!

i have the exact same problem! the launcher can download the zip file but can't unzip it! iv'e tried doing manually but it just deletes it again an are downloading it again weird.......

this is really weird.... i think it's a bug that they will fix soon.....!

I am having the same problem I tried putting the file not zipped but tekkit zipped it back up and then wont undo it.

modpack need "Instaled" file in bin folder to launch, so if you want to install modpack manually you need to copy "installed' file from other modpack and edit it with notepad

it helps but other people dosn't know that.... and i was just so happy that my modpack "AppleCraft 3.0" finally was ready for 1.5!

I have my modpack, and i put INSTALLED file in modpack.zip and now people can install modpack manually

I hate this. I had the idea to create a modpack, and right when I finish getting mods together and i was about to test it, I get a crash error.

Same here. I am creating a modpack and I load it up. Everything is working properly. But then, when I load it up on the launcher, it says error unzipping file and crap like that! Can someone help? I am using dropbox, and also whenever I put the link in it says use a valid address. Help me please!
