Description of Problem: I'm trying to run the technic launcher but I get an "Update Failed" Error every time I try to run it.

Same thing happened to me, its caused by 1.2.5 of minecraft. The main page on technicpack.net says they are working on a patch

I too am having this problem all of the sudden. I'm sure there is probably something on this somewhere in the forums, but I'm posting as a failsafe.

So that is the reason? Okay, I thought they were saying that the 1.2.5 version of Technic Pack needed a patch or something along those lines. Guess I'll just wait it out.

thats not the problem now or it shouldnt be because it now says fixed. i am having the same problem. it worked after 1.2.5 minecraft fix but now its not again.

I'm pretty sure we all have the same problem because my log is almost Identical to yours so it should be fixed soon

Even though my post would be redundant, I too am having the same problem.

Maybe if more of us post they'll see it's a bigger problem? (not like spam threads, mind you)

You didn't read the part in parenthesis did you? I meant not to spam. If lots of people show they all have the same problem then the technic crew would be more aware of the vastness of the problem.

is the vanilla packet a default cuz it works on my technic launcher bot the other packs don't update

Well, now my launcher is randomly working, so either the issue was fixed, or my computer was having a tard moment.
