Help!!!

Hello i'm fairly new here just because i want some awnser's please ^-^

My friend has a Mac OSX lion(its pretty old)and she try's to run CTL6_1.jar but an error comes up

saying "The Jar file CTL61 couldn't be launched.Check the Console for possible error messages"

i dont know what does "Check the Console for possible error messages" means or how todo it.

I would love some help if possible thanks.

Ps.my grammer is way off sorry

Run it from a console. Open a terminal, cd to the jar location, and run "java -jar CTL6_1.jar"
