Description of Problem:

After "FML is setting up minecraft environment" the white window named "Tekkit" crashes and disappears.

Java: error occurs while using Java 6 or Java 7. The error is not dependent upon Java version.

The reports show a "successful" launch of the game and are therefore useless. No error reports are displayed on the screen. The launcher simply crashes after selecting a modpack.

1) Launcher window opens and is labeled with incorrect file name ("start" instead of "techniclauncher.exe").

2) Modpack is selected.

3) Minecraft account information is entered in the prompt box.

4) Launch button is clicked.

5) Modpack updates are checked for and loaded.

6) New blank white window is opened in place of launcher window.

7) Blank window idles for approximately 3-4 seconds.

8) Window closes and application crashes.
