Hexxit stuck on Loading World

Since I updated Hexxit yesterday, whenever I try to play it just stays on loading world screen forever. I even put down my computer and came back an hour and a half later and it wasn't done. Im using a Gateway NE56R34u with 12 gigs of ram (only 6 allocated to hexxit), intel HD graphics card, and a intel b960 processor. Please help asap, ty
