BigDig Server Died

So, my buddy started this server not too long ago as a small server for me and my close friends to play together. It's only got about 8 members total, and its run from his desktop with very few problems for the past month or so. Anyway, yesterday it crashed, and we don't know how to fix it. It crashes immediately on launch (server side) so that it's always down for the client. We didn't back it up, so now we're hoping one of you incredibly tech-savvy forum-goers can help us out. I have the crash log, but it's too long to post, so could anyone suggest a good course of action?
