I need help as well. I have no idea how to set it up. I use Windows 8

all you need to do to set up the server is download it from http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit-classic and click the server download then just look up a video on youtube on how to do it.

a few questions though,

will it be whitelisted and we will help build it then you open it for people or what?

What do you want to do? (city, subway, small towns with trains, or just a spawn point and let people go out and build)
