Launcher's Directory Settings Always Default Themselves

This has been a throbbing thorn in my side for the past week now. I like to run Minecraft off a RAM DIsk and the directory settings for vanilla works perfectly fine for me, but for some reason the stupid perpetuate launcher ALWAYS wants to install under appdataroaming and run from it. I run a SSD on my OS and I don't want it going there at all. When I run the RAM Disk image with the launcher on it, I always pick the same letter drive for it and I even specifically set in place a new settings.yml in a folder named "Technic" on the RAM Disk where I want it to install to/run the mod packs from. This happens whenever I remake the RAM Disk. But I save it to an IMG file and load from it under the same exact letter drive and path name. I just don't get why it asks me to remake the file directory under appdata and it does it anyway when I tell it specifically NOT TO DO THAT.

Can I get a link somewhere on how to make a .bat to launch the Hexxit mod pack? I've found plenty of server guides but nothing that can replace the need for the technic launcher.
