Noah PLuimers Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Are you using the latest launcher? Are you using a unmodified Launcher? Do you have mods in .minecraft/mods? Quote

MathMan16 Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I am having this exact same issue. I am trying to launch technic on my macbook pro, version 10.8.2. I have tried using both the newest version of java and java 6, neither work. About every other time I go to launch technic, I encounter the error described by mattimoose - technic starts up, I select a modpack to launch and as soon as FML finishes loading, technic crashes without any form of error message. I have noticed that I can predict when it will work and when it will fail as soon as technic opens. When it works, it first opens a application with the .jar icon called owg.spoutcraft.launcher.entrypoint.start. This application then opens "Technic Launcher". When Technic fails, it opens as a application with the Java icon that is simply labeled: Start. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this problem? I have tried restarting my computer, reinstalling/uninstalling technic and using both Java 6 and Java 7. Quote
MathMan16 Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 I'm so happy. I found a fix to this. Go to http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/mac-modpacks-wont-open-properly.49456/ for the fix. If mac gives you an error about permissions (which happened to me) go to terminal, type in "bash " (include the space) and then drag and drop the TechnicRun.command file into terminal. I hope this helped everybody. Quote
