Can't receive verification email

I'm interested in setting up my own modpack for some friends who want to play. I've got that part done, seem to be no problems. My problem is hotmail doesn't seem to receive the verification email. I figured that it might just take awhile, so I tried having the verification email resent, but to no avail. Can I get my account email changed so I can receive that email? I am firmly of the opinion it's an issue with the email side, not the technic side as I've had similar trouble before (It's been awhile, and it doesn't happen often, but it does happen). Someone will mention it, but yes I've checked my junk mail (then deleted it, hit the resend button and gave it another day) and still nothing. When I try to edit my account, the only option is to change the password. Granted, it's not the forum site I need the info changed on, it's the technic site itself (www.technicpack.net). I also added [email protected] to my safe list, just to be sure... Again, no luck. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you for your time and assistance.
