Technic Launcher isn't working

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: 7.0.250

Description of Problem:

When I open the launcher and enter my username and password, nothing happens. It's completely blank. I re-downloaded it multiple times, and reinstalled Java twice

My friend is having a similar problem. He just downloaded the launcher today after deleting his old .techniclauncher and then when he launched it none of the modpacks load. It says "Click here to add modpack" for every single slot where a mod should be like tekkit and hexxit. He typed in his password and username and tried launching anything but nothing happens at all. I hope there is a fix soon.
