Equivalent Exchange items aren't burning through fuel!

I recently made a destruction catalyst on my friends Tekkit server, and when I use it no fuel is burned...

When I have nothing but the catalyst in my inventory, it doesn't work, and as soon as I do none of the fuel is used... :/

I believe its a bug with equivalent exchange multiplayer. If i remember rightly it does use the fuel however you can't see it using it. If it still works i wouldnt complain, jusr make sure you have fuel. When its fully depleted it will disappear. If you use redstone as a test you should be able to see better than say aeternalis
