Title: Tekkit 1.1.8 Locks up on mac during world gen/load SMP and SSP

Version: 1_0_3

OS: Mac OSX Mountain Lion

Java Version: Java 7

Description of Problem:

Tekkit 1.1.8 Locks up on mac when you try to load or generate a world, wether or not you are playing on dedicated server, or in a single player world. it goes to generate the world, then the window turns white, and stays that way till you force quite the program.

Very similar problem here. Haven't found a fix yet but it's frustrating.

I've got the same problem, but on snow leopard not mountain lion. Extremely frustrating.

Same problem. I'm running lion and whenever I try to load/create a world it just stays at a blank screen that says "building terrain" indefinitely. Suggestions?

Same problem. Im on Mountain Lion, launcher 1.1.8 cant even get to the main screen without the window automatically closing. Cant find solution anywhere.

Thank god I checked the Forums I just updated and thought the malfunction was from me playing with my ports. Mac is having the same thing. OS X v.10.8.4

Edit: Saw this on another post if you guys haven't read it yet.

1. Start TechnicLauncher.jar

2. Top Right Corner (Launcher Options)

3. Activate "Increase PermGen Size"

4. Launch the Game

5. Enjoy
