Tekkit Not Responding

Description of Problem:

I have just downloaded the latest version of tekkit 1.1.8 and when I try to enter my inventory by pressing e I get a message that tekkit is not responding and then the program closes.

Error Messages:

Java SE Binary is not responding Windows is checking for a solution

No error log was shown
