Description of Problem:

i start up tekkit classic from the technic launcher and it goes fine says no update for tekkit found the window appears it goes white then mojang then dirt texture then white and stops it doesn't show an error message

This happened to me not long ago and it did fix itself after i re-installed it. It may not work but it worked for me so give that a go.
