Launcher Version: Latest

Operating System: Windows 7, 64-bit, Build 7601, SP1 (Only a windows problem)

Java Version: Latest, 7u40

Antivirus Program: None

Description of Problem:

This happens with all mod packs, included custom ones.

The launcher itself is fine, that has a predefined, without the ability to define a larger or small size. The problem persists with the launch of a mod pack, as stated in the Title, the window is tiny.

I have to enlarge the window, while FML is loading, in order to prevent it from crashing. That is the only solution I can do, but it can be a nuisance if FML loads too quickly (thankfully I don't have DDR3 RAM, along with an SSD).

I know there is a way to change it's size by editing a file within the registry, however, I have no idea where to start looking.

Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately it doesn't solve it, which means this is more than likely a problem with the registry file that would normally be created.

If someone could point me in the right direction as to where to the registry file, I would be much appreciative.

I'm not sure that editing the registry will fix this problem, but here's a link. Remember that editing the registry can be incredibly dangerous though, you should only do this if you are 100% sure you know what you're doing. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/235994

Frankly though, I doubt that that will fix your problem. Can you give me the forge log that is produced when minecraft crashes as you described?

If this was a java issue, then it would have rectified itself when i installed 7u40, and FYI Java 6 no longer works with mods that are in these mod packs

this is a problem with the registry (and the fact it's windows, have never had, and never will have this problem on linux)
