Beta launcher won't start my modpack

Operating System: Windows 7 Enterprise

Java Version: jre7

Antivirus Program: System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection

Description of Problem:

My modpack is for MC 1.6.2. The new beta launcher seemingly downloads all the files and installs them with no problem, but fails to do anything when it goes to launch Minecraft. The launcher just stays open and sits there.

Attached is the launcher logfile for one such session.
