Loading Tekkit for the first time

Description of Problem:

Tekkit Install fails while attempting to download all the mod packs

Error Messages:

None

Its hanging during download at Simple Power Storage. Even when I manually get the jar file from someone else to try and bypass the issue, it still hangs.
