Server Problem

Hey there,

Whenever I try to host a big dig server it lags sometimes, and especially when someone is exploring or when a nuke/anti matter is exploding. I've dedicated 16 GB RAM ( on a 32GB dedicated box with quad core ) to the server and it is still lagging on those events ( with only 4 people on the server! ), unlike public servers that use the same power and ram to keep up with 50 players at the same time without even minor lag.

I think that it is something wrong that I do, I would greatly appreciate any help on this.
