Modpack won't load

Description of Problem:

When ever I click play on a modpack in the technic launcher, where the download bar is, is comes up with 0% then it won't load and in the console it goves me a load of failed report thingys. This isn't just on new modpacks, it also happens on big dig and stuff

Update: I visited the Oracle site, as recommended by the download page, and I downloaded the Java thing that was there and it was Version 7 Update 45 but it still won't load

That modpack is a .rar archive. Technic only works with .zip files. Have whoever made the modpack re-compress the file as a zip.
