installing more mods

is there a way to add one or more mods to tekkit? i really wanna have single player commands installed so i can clear out a rather big area of blocks and make a hollow cube around the area, and wanted to use single player commands to hollow it out, but so far no matter how i intall it(placing in mods or in the .jar) it wont load the mod. something special i need to do or place it a certain way to make it work?

That really depends on the mod. Anyway if your need just to empty an area you can use the filler or a quarry :|

It is rather easy to add mods that are forge-compatible, I don't really know if the one you want is :|

the mod im trying to install is single player commands, as it does the job faster than a quarry, and i dont really need more stuff in my allready filled chests(have about 30 double chests with different things)
