Launcher Freezing up?

Hey, I'm relatively new to Hexxit and i just joined my friend's server. I went to log on today and it did the normal "loading files" thing on the launcher, but then it just stopped loading. At first i thought it was just my computer loading so i waited a bit and tried again the same thing kept happening over and over and over and over again. I tried the other mods and they were working. So now i'm confused. Is this happening to anyone else? Or does Hexxit just hate me?
