OS: i have a mac desktop i dont know if it has a specific name but it is quite old i got it a cople of years ago and it has 4 gigabytes of ram

Java Version: java 7

Description of Problem:

i havent been on hexxit in while but the other day i decided to get on and play. There was an update to it so i updated and went to play as soon as it loaded i noticed something was wrong. i got on my world and it was extremely slow and laggy. i put my render distance on tiny but it didnt do anything. i put the technic launcher to use 2 gigabytes but that didnt help. so i dont know if its something with the new update or if something you added to the mod pack is to much for my computer but it is kinda sad because now i cant play hexxit because its so laggy. anyways just wanted to ask so if you can give me input it would be much appreciated thanks.
