I downloaded the ".exe" file for the beta version of the new technic launcher two separate times, and each time my computer just stopped working. I had to do a manual shut down about 4 times for each download just to get my computer to delete the downloaded file without completely stopping. CPU was running at around 20%, but was acting as if it was running at +100% of maximum capacity. Games, Internet browsers, and Windows itself would simply freeze while I helplessly moved the mouse across the screen, unable to do anything.
