Launcher won't launch modpacks

Launcher Version: Launcher bulid: 342

Operating System: Windows 8

Java Version: 1.7.0_45 64 bit

Antivirus Program: Commodo

Description of Problem:

I have noticed a few other people have had the same problem but have had no luck myself! when i go to launch hexxit or any other modpack for that matter it will start loading, then it will say json.version. after that it will just quit loading.

the only time it works is the first time i launch a modpack. after that it just won't launch. Just to give you a understanding of what i have done. i have deleted all the techinc flies. i have used jarfix i have tried allocating more ram. any suggestions appreciated! also i says in somewhere in the console: Acess denied so i tried launching as admin and turning off my anit-virus program. still no luck.

Update: I Upgraded my OS to windows 8.1 it reset a couple of settings. and that seems to have done the trick. :)
