My friend deleted all his modpacks and can't get them back

Description of Problem:

First of all, sorry for the lack of information but it's my friend who has the problem and I'm no expert but given the situation it shouldn't matter he posted this on server forums.

"Today my Technic launcher was acting up and I tried EVERYTHING to try and fix it. It didn't work, it kept saying all this stuff that was messed up and it said Hexxit was offline and stuff so I deleted everything that involved the Technic launcher/Hexxit then re-downloaded it. When I pull up the launcher all it says is that add a new mod slide so yea if you know how to fix.. Btw I can't add Hexxit back as a mod for some reason, just tell me."

i have a macbook, but where ever your tekkit folder is, delete the whole folder, after the open the tekkit launcher back up, it should re-install everything, hope it works. good luck
