Help, black smoke is destroying my world!

Hey!

I've been playing Minecraft for a while and i recently started playing Tekkit Lite.

I completed a whole city but I've been confronted with a weird smoke/fog/particles that destroys blocks around it. I don't know what it is and I havent found anything about it on the internet.

It just expands en destroys all blocks on its path.

Can somebody please help me en tell me what to do to stop this?

I really don't want to start over or this thing destroying my world.
