Launcher Crashes Before Launching

Launcher: 0.5.4.9

OS: Windows 7 64bit

Java: Java 7 (I have both 32 and 64 bit installed)

AntiVirus: Currently not running one

The launcher itself downloaded fine, but when I go to open it for the install it instantly crashes without seeming to bring up anything except for the standard crash message "Technic Launcher Updater has stopped working". I would love to play this mod, any help on the matter is appreciated.

Still no progress on this issue. I've attempted to run as admin, tried to unblock the program, and forced run as admin on compatibility settings..... same message. The only other thing I have on minecraft is a texture pack, otherwise i'm running clean on mods. This is becoming irritating very quickly, as I would like to mod minecraft but I don't want to go adding things until i'm sure this mod wont load, because it's the mod I actually want. Again, any help is appreciated.

Still no luck. Tried the .jar file and it pops up for just under a second and says that it cannot find and or read the main class for the launcher. It goes by so fast I had to keep clicking it just to read what it said. Maybe someone can help with this?
