Error unzipping

OS: Windows 8 (that's all I know)

Java Version: 7 (I believe)

Description of Problem:

Everytime I try to launch Tekkit, Hexxit, Voltz, and BigDig, I get an error message

Error Messages:

Error unzipping a file in the modpack: (insert modpack name)

error in opening zip file

please consult the modpack author

Go to your %appdata% directory, find the .technic folder, and delete it. If you don't have .technic, and/or it does work, delete the .techniclauncher folder if you have one. If that doesn't work, not sure. This solved my friends problem.
