I have recently updated my computer with the latest version of Java (Version 7 Update 45) and ever since then I have not been able to play any modpack with the launcher, I have however been able to play vanilla Minecraft with the official Minecraft launcher. This is what happens:
- I successfully launch the Technic launcher
- I select a modpack
- Modpack begins to launch and Forge modloader completes processes successfully
- Mojang logo screen appears but logo is distorted (Note that Hexxit is only the example here and happens with all Modpacks)
- Minecraft start screen opens but is distorted like logo screen
- Minecraft suddenly closes after a few seconds and launcher reappears (Launcher works like normal)
I'm sorry if this was posted in the wrong location but it involved all modpacks and I had no idea as to where this should be posted. I am currently looking into Java and my own computer being the problem.
