Tekkit is lagging after a while

Hello!

My friend is playing tekkit SMP with me on server!

So when he plays about 1 h he`s game starts to lag..

He has re-instaled tekkik several times and nothing!!

And the lag is even when he plays SSP

Operating System: Windows 7 32bit

Java 6 update 31

Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E6750 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.7GHz

Memory: 2048MB RAM

Card name: ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series

Display Memory: 1275 MB

Dedicated Memory: 508 MB

Shared Memory: 767 MB

Thats all i got!

It's not lag, it's reduced framerate.

Minecraft, and technic/tekkit specifically is very cpu and memory intensive. 2Gb of ram isn't enough after one hour of encountering tens of thousands of potentially dynamic entities. My laptop is on 1.6 dual core and 2Gb memory, and I hover around 30fps for about an hour, and it goes downhill from there.

Go buy another 1Gb stick or something, unless you are a poor sod like me with a naff laptop.

You may also want to try running 512mb. a friend of mine with a low end machine says he gets much better performance running 512mb on a computer with just a few GB of ram.

Then turn all your video settings down, tekkit should leak the least ram in the lowest settings.

But i would do this after trying what the above poster suggested :D
