Trouble making casts

Hey guys,

I'm playing on a private server using this pack. I've just started, built my smelter, casting table etc. and when i went to make a pickaxe head cast I wasn't able to. I had a stone pickaxe head on the casting table, and gold in the smelter but the gold wouldn't come out of the faucet. I was however able to make a blank cast... I don't know what I'm doing wrong... :/

Help please?

EDIT: Turns out we're using the older version, need to use the pattern table... :| DUH.
