"Can't Find Java Directory"

So I've played using the TechnicLauner on my desktop, and I've never gotten this problem. When I run the launcher, it opens up the "Checking Launcher Version..." thing and then a dialogue box appears that says "Can't find java directory." and the updater thing that I mentioned earlier stays at 0%. What am I supposed to do? I downloaded java, then redownloaded it. I haven't tried to redownload the TechnicLauncher though... Should I try that? Any suggestions?

This may be something to do with your java, as it is for my Mac. What Java are you currently running? Also check out the sticky in this section, for the Java Bug.
