Problems using launcher

Whenever I try to use the launcher, I do as normal, just sign in and click the start. but while its loading it stops and just says :  Error : Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error : A fatal exeption has occurred. Program will now Exit.

It does this every time I try to play Tekkit Classic. plz help
