A while back I downloaded tekkit (after 2-3 tries with the launcher), but recently I tried to play the other parts of the modpack, but none would download (including vanilla). I backed up my tekkit folder, deleted .techniclauncher, deleted .minecraft, reinstalled minecraft and disabled antivirus (AVG) and windows firewall, then tried again, and none of them would download. They all get part way and then stop.
I am running windows 7 64 bit operating system, and believe I have the most up to date java version as I just reinstalled (I don't know how to check though... :/).
I can access tekkit if I put my old tekkit folder into .techniclauncher folder, but am unable to download tekkit from scratch, or any of the other mods (which are the mods I want ).
I have been unable to download minecraft as well at the moment, keep getting fatal error occur (4) while trying to update to 1.2.5. I dont think thats related, but figured its best worth mentioning.
