Can you try and reach the URL manually? like typing it into your browser and see if you can reach that address that  way?

Was it the first file that failed, or did it download other files/and or modpacks fine?

And maybe a little info on your connection would be handy too, for example are you using a proxy to connect to the internet?

I will try and report results. No proxy, just connecting through my isp. Thanks Zartach. Im kinda new at the whole minecraft thing. Appreciate the advice.
