launcher problem

Ok first of all.  This is the first time I have ever used Technic launcher.  I went to the main page and downloaded the launcher (linux) version.  When I tried to launch it goes to the MOJANG screen then right back to the launcher.  I have messed with it all day redownloaded many times.  would love to try technic but really if your stuff is that broken that I cant even create a single player game and check it out.  I click on the log button and nothing, and still nothing.  I am forced to come to the conclusion that all your stuff is broken?  So now I guess you can deleat this post as hostile and sweep it under the rug.  If I do not get a reply in 48 hours that is what I will figure has happened.

First of all, technic is NOT broken. If you can get to the launcher screen, click the cog in the upper left corner and then click "Show Console". Then if there is an error, copy it to http://pastebin.com and share the link with us
