cant use new launcher

I am at college and the port that is used to download minecraft is blocked. Does anyone know a way to use the new launcher with this problem ... or a way around it? :'(

If the port is blocked then there aint nothing you can do about it!

Play at home and dont block up the college computers playing games.....

Do some work? :P
