Just a little scare

So I was playing ultra modded survival and i decided i wanted to fight the king. So i spent some time wondering the Utopia Dimension when after about 30 minutes i cam across the golden ore tree... So i put down my portal and went and got geared up and when i got back, after about two swings at the king he vanished and after some looking i realized he went through my portal.  So i went through and found him and he started to go back to his tree to guard it, so i decided to follow him back. As i was following him i came across ANOTHER golden ore tree and decided id use that one instead. About 10 minutes into my fight with the king i though i saw something interesting, and after the king stopped fighting me, turned around and was still getting damaged i noticed something and just about crapped myself.

Just wanted to know if this has ever happened to anyone else? running across two golden ore trees side by side
