the technic inventory editor (TMI or NEI maybe?)

in technic pack there is an inventory editor and i cant get it to put items in my invetory anyone have an idea?

windows xp

java 32 bit

vanilla sometimes crashes

Change NEI to cheat mode from options. It's on recipe mode by default.

Recipe mode allows you to hover over the items and press R so you can see how to make them, or press U to see what they can make.

Also you may have to go to the config file in order to enable cheat mode because there is a option in there that locks recipe mode automatically.

Go to %appdata%/*/.techniclauncher/config/NEI.cfg and open with notepad or notepad++.

*either you have to enter the Roaming folder, or you don't, depending on your OS.
