Why Tekkit No Work?

So today I have been trying to get tekkit to download but it keeps getting stuck at verifying asm-all. It's getting very annoying so can someone tell me how to get it to actually work?!?

Getting the same issue.

Tried re-installing java.

Tried turning off firewall.

It took about 100 tries to get it to work but the issue continues even after you get it to work.

What in the world is wrong with the launcher?!?
