Hi, I'm German and love Attack of the b-team
 
My boyfriend and I want to play on a world over Lan-Mode, but we do not see the world in multiplayer.
 
We have tried it even over hamachi, But unfortunately without success...
 
Herewith my question, one can even play on Lan-mode ?
 
Please help =) we love this MOD !

I never got Hamachi to work with Minecraft on lan...even after changing some settings in the network options...

 

Try using "Tunngle" much faster and easier, tho it's not going to be a private lan.

 

There is another way without using any of those VLan programs tho.

 

If you have your ethernet cable connected to your computer directly from the modem, you can just open a lan server and have your boyfriend joined your server by direct connect to "your public IP address:port number".

 

You can find your public ip address here:  http://www.whatismyip.com/

 

and the port number for minecraft is usually 25565.

 

 

However, if your modem is first connect to a router or wireless router, then you need to portforward port 25565 to your computer's internal IP first.

 

After you done that, your boyfriend should be able to join by connect to "your public IP address:port number".
